that bloody 'mccain is really old' video

never diaried here before (at least not that I recall), mostly because am UKer and don't feel it's my place to poke into your estimable (or something) political scene. But that bloody diary that Mr Openthread keeps putting on the front page is damned stupid. Or rather, the frequency it's going on the front page is really stupid. What was dumb-but-funny became annoying and is now really offensive. Since when do progressives mock people for what they are? Why would you throw a such great bucket of disrespect over such a politically active demographic? Stupid stupid stupid. Disclaimer: am 40 (which may account for crankiness).
update: there are so many ways to attack that arsehole: we (you) shouldn't be using republican schoolboy methods of doing so.
